This parcel borders Les Luchets, the well-known lieu-dit high on the Meursault slope, which places it on the commune boundary and explains the wine's relatively rich, Meursault-leaning character. Fabien Coche took over the family domaine from his father Alain Coche-Bizouard and works with whole-bunch pressing, fermentation and ageing in barrel, restrained new oak and long lees ageing.
