Fabien Coche runs the Meursault domaine his father Alain built under the Coche-Bizouard name, with holdings spread across Meursault, Auxey-Duresses, Monthelie and Saint-Romain. The house style is unshowy and precise: whole-bunch pressing, fermentation and ageing in barrel with a modest proportion of new wood, and long contact with the fine lees.
