The finest of that ground, Les Santenots du Milieu, is entitled to be sold as Volnay-Santenots, so what stays in bottle as Meursault rouge is a genuine rarity and usually made in tiny quantity. Fabien Coche is a Meursault domaine, part of the extended Coche family of the village, better known for whites from Le Limozin, Les Luchets and Les Gouttes d'Or.
