The cool climate here gives Shiraz a spicier, more fragrant style than the warm regions of South Australia, with pepper and red and blue fruits to the fore. The 2023 is dark red with purple hues and a bouquet of black pepper, cinnamon, blackberry and dark chocolate. On the palate, red and blue fruits meet nutmeg and clove, finishing with silky tannins and good length.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePeppered steak, duck ragù or lamb shanks all bring out its spice; serve at around 16 to 18 degrees.
