The estate describes the vineyard as a sheltered amphitheatre, and that pocket of extra warmth lets Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc reach a depth of flavour unusual for Tasmania. Extended maceration and time in French oak barriques add cigar box notes over blackcurrant, plum and black olive fruit. The 2024 is a young release, generous and richly flavoured, with the structure to develop further with bottle age.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eServe at around 16 to 18 degrees, ideally after a short decant.
