That gave Barney Flanders his reason to bottle it separately from 2013 onwards, under a name that translates as land of fire. The 2022 saw a shorter maceration than usual at 21 days, followed by ten months in hogsheads with 30 per cent new oak. As ever, the entire crop was fermented as whole bunches, something no other red in the range receives.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePowerful and perfumed, with blood plum, black tea, cedar spice and a wiry, savoury tannin frame. The finish is long and mineral.
