Twenty-five days on skins, then ten months in hogsheads with a quarter new oak. The plot itself is half an acre of Merricks Grove sitting on a vein of pure red ferrosol, separately bottled since Barney Flanders noticed its smaller bunches and greater depth.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOpen, powerful and highly perfumed, with red and black cherry, smoke, dried herb and a savoury complexity that builds in the glass.
