The cellar was founded in 1923 by 24 growers with 25 hectares between them and now works with roughly 200 winegrowing families across about 220 hectares in the Oltradige and Bassa Atesina, on lean gravel and loam soils facing south and sheltered from the north. Cellarmaster Gerhard Kofler puts the aromatic definition of these wines down to the wide gap between day and night temperatures, above all in autumn. Fermentation is cool and in stainless steel, with time on fine lees and no oak.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDrink now and over the next three or four years.
