Therese and Hans Herzog planted the site in the 1990s, farm it organically and keep yields low. The wine had an extended spell in oak before release, and as an older vintage it has picked up plenty of further age in bottle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRose, red cherry and tar, with the firm tannin the variety is known for.
