Harmand-Geoffroy is its only producer. The position makes it a genuinely cool site, late to harvest and constantly worked over by the winds coming down the valley, and that is what defines the wine: a mountainous, taut character with pronounced mineral drive and freshness rather than the broad-shouldered weight associated with Gevrey’s better-known crus. The vines were replanted in 1988. The domaine works in a traditional register, with destemmed fruit, a long cuvaison and measured use of new oak.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWorth five years and good for fifteen.
