Where Stonewell gives pale sand over limestone, Moppa's dark ironstone and red-brown clay produce a deeper, firmer wine from the same variety and the same hand. Alex Head founded the label in 2006 and works single sites across the Barossa and Eden Valleys. Maturation is in older French oak, with the wine bottled unfined and unfiltered.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eServe at 17 degrees with roast beef, lamb shoulder or hard cheese.
