The domaine covers barely six hectares and is worked from a cramped cellar under the village. Fruit is only partly destemmed and fermented with ambient yeast, after which the wine spends years in a collection of old foudres and demi-muids with no new oak and little intervention. Marie Beurrier, named for a forebear of the family, is the estate's regular bottling, drawn from the barrels not selected for Réserve des Célestins, and it is raised in the same unhurried way. This bottling is a 1.5 litre magnum.

Warm, earthy and mature rather than fruit-driven, it suits roast lamb, game birds and mushroom dishes at a large table; decant off the sediment and serve at around 17 degrees.

*Every effort is made to ensure the current vintage is accurate; however, variations can occur.
