Close planting means each vine carries less fruit, which is why this wine tends towards more concentration and richness than its immediate neighbour. Franco d'Anna ferments it with the same light touch he applies across the range and bottles it unfined and unfiltered.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDark cherry, plum and a savoury, spicy edge, with more flesh and depth than the estate bottling and tannins that need a little time.
