Of the domaine's three sites it is generally the roundest and most immediately charming, where Le Mont is firmer and Clos du Bourg more powerful. A Première Trie is only made in the better years, from a pass through the vineyard taking the ripest berries alone, often with a proportion of botrytis. The estate has farmed biodynamically since the late 1980s, ferments with indigenous yeasts and bottles without excessive intervention, which is why these wines hold their tension over decades. This bottling is deep gold in colour, concentrated and grippy, with the sweetness carried by the salty, tension-filled acidity that marks Huet at every level.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDrinking well now and will keep for many years yet.
