{"product_id":"jasper-hill-georgias-paddock-nebbiolo-2024","title":"Jasper Hill Georgia's Paddock Nebbiolo 2024","description":"\u003cp\u003eJasper Hill Georgia's Paddock Nebbiolo is a Heathcote Nebbiolo from a small block of the Piedmontese variety within the Laughton family's bio-dynamically farmed estate.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eJasper Hill was established in 1975 by Ron and Elva Laughton on the Cambrian-era red soils of Heathcote in central Victoria, and is now run with their daughters Emily and Georgia, after whom the two estate paddocks are named. Alongside its famous Shiraz, the family planted a small block of Nebbiolo within Georgia's Paddock, drawn to the variety's affinity for well-drained soils and warm days. Like the rest of the estate, the vines are dry grown on their own roots and farmed with organic and bio-dynamic practices. Nebbiolo is naturally pale in colour but high in tannin and acidity, and the fruit is hand picked, fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured in oak to soften its structure while keeping its savoury, perfumed character.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eFirm and savoury, with Nebbiolo's characteristic tannic grip, it is best with rich pasta, mushroom risotto or slow-cooked veal; serve at around 16 to 17 degrees.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003e*Every effort is made to ensure the current vintage is accurate; however, variations can occur.
