The McRae Wood vineyard gives Shiraz of depth and structure, and the wine is matured in oak before release. The 2022 is stylish and composed: blue fruits and warm spice on the nose, then a generous, weighty palate where purple-fruited flavours lead. Layered, fine tannins hold it together and the finish is long and even.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDecant it, or open it an hour ahead, and serve at around 16 to 18 degrees. A slow-cooked lamb ragù, venison or a firm sheep's milk cheese all work well.
