Formerly bottled as Florilège, Léon draws on mature vines in the lieux-dits Les Champs de Cris, Les Asserts, Villiers and Les Champs Piot, all densely planted at 10,000 vines per hectare and cropped at around 30 hl\/ha. Some 80% of the crop was fermented and raised in concrete cuve and stainless steel, with 20% barrel-fermented juice blended in for complexity. The wine spent twelve to eighteen months on lees to build texture while holding its brightness, and finished at a moderate 13% alcohol.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDrinking well now and worth five years in the cellar.
