Jonathan Didier Pabiot farms at Les Loges, close to the river. This cuvée, formerly called Prédilection, comes from a beautiful terraced vineyard planted by his father Didier on terres blanches, the local Kimmeridgian marl, with vines now averaging fifty years of age. Active lime content runs above 70 per cent, which makes the vines struggle and gives a saltier, more coiled wine than the estate's Aubaine cuvée.
