The batch was so good a year later that it became a permanent line. Two years minimum in new charred barrels, double distilled in copper pot stills at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, bottled at 45 per cent.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSweet corn and caramel up front, then a wisp of peat smoke through a warm, spicy finish. Neat is the way to understand it.
