It belongs to the same family group as Port Phillip Estate and has built a strong name for site-driven Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The Estate Chardonnay comes from the home blocks. The fruit is gently whole-bunch pressed straight into French oak barriques and puncheons, a portion of them new, where it ferments before resting on lees for close to a year. The low-intervention approach puts the site first, with lees and oak adding texture and depth to the wine's natural freshness.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eServe lightly chilled, at around 10 to 12 degrees, with roast chicken, scallops in brown butter or a creamy mushroom risotto.
