The exposure here is south facing, which pushes Viognier to full ripeness, and the terracing means every task is done by hand. Just two barrels of this cuvee are made, so it is a genuinely small bottling from a single parcel. Viognier is the sole grape of the appellation; fermentation and maturation in barrel with lees contact is the traditional treatment, building the weight and texture the wines are known for.
