The vineyards face east and south east across the river, catching morning sun on slopes too steep for machinery, so the work is done by hand. This cuvee runs to 1,500 bottles and is made with 30 per cent whole bunch, a technique that keeps the stems in the ferment to add lift, freshness and a fine tannic frame rather than extra weight. The vineyards are worked organically.

A savoury, peppery style for charcuterie, roast lamb and grilled red meats; serve at around 16 degrees, and a short decant does no harm.

*Every effort is made to ensure the current vintage is accurate; however, variations can occur.
