The plot runs to 0.7 hectares, some plants are more than a century old and the average vine age is around sixty years. The Bret brothers farm the whole estate biodynamically, working the soils and keeping intervention in the cellar to a minimum. As is usual for this cuvée, the 2023 was mostly raised in tank with about 10 per cent in old barrels, which keeps the fruit direct and the texture fine. Lower-lying sites of this kind often give the most immediately appealing wine in the range.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eReady on release and good for four or five years, it suits grilled fish, roast pork or a goat's cheese salad.
