This 1.5-hectare parcel lies on the north-facing side of the valley below the Vergisson rock, where eroded limestone and clay soils and a cool exposure make for a linear, tightly drawn style. The site was already farmed biodynamically when the Bret brothers of La Soufrandière bought it in 2016, and their own regime has added precision since. Jean-Philippe Bret notes that the grapes reach good ripeness in spite of the cool aspect, and that the vines perform particularly well in warm, dry years thanks to the water-holding capacity of the soil.
