Ferments finish quickly, and the wine is pressed, settled and racked to neutral 5,000-litre French foudre. What the vintage supplied in weight, the handling keeps in shape.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eViolet, blueberry and smoke on the nose; the palate is generous and detailed, with juicy blue fruit, orange rind and aniseed folded into fine acidity and long, silky tannin. Serve at 16 degrees.
