Desloges worked with Raphaël Coche at Coche-Dury and with Thierry Pillot at Domaine Paul Pillot before returning home to take over his father's vines, and the Burgundian training is evident. The vineyard lies on the right bank of the Cher. In the cellar the grapes were macerated for 11 days, then fermented and aged in 228-litre barrels made from oak staves cut in the nearby Loches forest.
