Hand-picked fruit is wild-fermented with around half whole bunches, matured in 50 per cent new French oak and bottled unfined and unfiltered. 2023 was cool, wet and small-cropping, with a long growing season and a warm late-summer finish that pulled the fruit into balance. Ray Nadeson and Maree Collis released a set of single-vineyard Pinots from the year for exactly that reason.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDarker-fruited and earthier than the bayside bottlings, with red plum, dried herb and a fine, mineral tannin frame. Elegant and bright. Serve at 15 degrees.
