Each parcel was handpicked and wild-fermented with around half whole bunches, then matured for ten months in French barriques, 35 per cent of them new. The half bottle is a sensible format for Pinot at this weight: enough for two glasses, and a slightly quicker path to maturity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMaraschino cherry, forest berry and jasmine, with a savoury ripe-tomato-leaf note and spice behind. Silky tannin, understated oak, a long and graceful close. Serve at 15 degrees.
