There's no grand cru; the reputation rests on a string of premiers crus and a style that favours perfume, fine tannin and lift over power. The Billard family name has long roots in the Burgundian countryside. This organically farmed wine is fermented in open vats and matured in mostly used French oak barrels, so fruit and site show through.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFragrant and light-framed, with red cherry, violet and a silky finish. A short decant helps.
