Louis de Grenelle ages its bottles in galleries cut fifteen metres into the tuffeau limestone beneath Saumur, where the constant cool temperature suits a slow second fermentation. Cuvée Louis is made from organically farmed fruit and is led by Chenin Blanc with Chardonnay in support, giving orchard fruit and citrus over a chalky base.
