The commune has no grand cru, its summit being the premiers crus Les Rugiens on the Volnay side and Les Épenots towards Beaune. Les Cras is a village level lieu-dit on better drained, stonier ground, generally giving a slightly finer wine than the heavy clay of the flatter parcels.
