Jean-Luc Mader farms the parcel organically and keeps the crop low, treating it as a clear step above the estate's village Pinot Blanc. The fruit is whole bunch pressed, fermented slowly in stainless steel with indigenous yeast and held on fine lees to build breadth before bottling under screwcap, with no oak used.
