{"product_id":"mader-riesling-rosacker-2023","title":"Mader Riesling Rosacker 2023","description":"\u003cp\u003eMader Riesling Rosacker is a dry Grand Cru Riesling from the limestone hill that encircles the village of Hunawihr.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eRosacker is the Grand Cru immediately above Hunawihr and is best known for enclosing Clos Sainte Hune, but the wider site has a clear character of its own: dolomitic limestone with a high active lime content over clay and marl, giving Rieslings that are firm, saline and slow to open. Jean-Luc Mader farms his parcels here organically and works them by hand. The fruit is whole bunch pressed, fermented with indigenous yeast in stainless steel and left on fine lees through the winter, with no oak used.
