Both are farmed sustainably. The 2022 season was cool and slow-ripening with good flavour intensity but very low yields. In cooler years Peter Dredge steps back from full carbonic maceration, so the blocks came in one at a time: carbonic for the old-vine fruit, complete destemming for the young vines. After fermentation the wine was pressed straight to inert French barriques for three months on lees, then bottled unfined and unfiltered.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCrunchy and light-framed, with red cherry, raspberry and a peppery sappy edge. Tannin is barely there.
