Apart from the stainless steel, none of that counts as standard practice for Marlborough Sauvignon. Nine months resting on fine lees followed, which is where the texture comes from and what sets this apart from the sharper, sweeter wines filling the shelves.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMore substance than the category usually allows: citrus and herb aromatics over a broad, dry palate with lees texture and a tangy, saline close.
