They work with growers across the region, with a particular focus on the old sandy sites of Blewitt Springs, and favour gentle, low-intervention winemaking that keeps the emphasis on site and freshness rather than oak or extraction. Blewitt Springs sits in the higher, cooler north east of McLaren Vale, where deep sand over clay produces wines of fragrance and fine, silky tannin. The district is prized for old vines and is increasingly regarded as the source of the region's most elegant reds.
