This blend takes its cue from the southern French and Spanish tradition, where Grenache brings generosity and fragrance and Carignan adds acidity, colour and a firmer, savoury frame. Both varieties thrive in McLaren Vale's warm Mediterranean climate, tempered by sea breezes from Gulf St Vincent.
