They work with growers across the region, with a particular focus on the old sandy sites of Blewitt Springs, and favour gentle, low-intervention winemaking that keeps the emphasis on site and freshness rather than oak or extraction. McLaren Vale is home to some of the world's oldest Grenache, much of it dry-grown on bush vines, and the variety reaches its most expressive form on the region's sandy soils. Spice Garden is one of the producer's single-vineyard Grenache bottlings, made in small quantities to highlight the character of a single site.
