The domaine took its name in 1950 from the marriage of Marie Naudet and René Moreau; Stéphane Moreau took over from his father Roger in 1991 and rebuilt it around pre-industrial methods, drawing on the example of Vincent Dauvissat, Didier Dagueneau and Charly Foucault, before dying at 47 shortly ahead of the 2016 harvest. Virginie Naudet has led the estate since. The 25.5 hectares are worked without herbicides or pesticides and picked by hand — one grand cru parcel is ploughed by horse — and yields ran to only 35 hl\/ha in 2017. Fermentation is with no added yeasts, sulphur is kept low, and every wine is raised on its fine lees.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDrink within two or three years.
