The 2024 season was mild and low-cropping, and quality came through well. For this vintage Michael Downer fermented and matured the whole lot in tank. Earlier releases saw a portion go into barrel, but he has stepped away from that lately, judging that freshness and clear fruit expression matter more here than added texture. The result is the most direct version of the wine he has bottled.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTropical fruit and citrus, with a leafy edge and plenty of drive. Balanced, dry and flavoursome without carrying any weight.
