The blend is 42 per cent Meunier, 39 Pinot Gris and 19 Pinot Noir. Fruit was destemmed to barrel and fermented on a rolling basis, with parcels added as they arrived in the winery, then held twelve months in large puncheons with full malolactic conversion. Three years on lees in bottle followed, and at disgorgement it was topped up with wine from the twenty-year-old perpetual reserve and given no dosage.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCrushed flowers and berries, spice and a mineral snap, with delicate but potent structure, a deep core of fruit and a tight, lasting finish.
