Here the blending was done with top-quality Pedro Ximénez at the founding of the solera, probably more than a century ago, so the two have aged together as a single wine ever since. The solera has never been generally available, with only occasional sacas released for British customers. Within it sits a bota NO and, above that, a double NO of notably higher age and character, and this bottling is drawn from the latter in small volume.
