The fruit comes from a grower she has worked with over three vintages, from a parcel planted by his grandfather that lies only metres from Mazoyères-Chambertin, on the left as you enter the village from Morey-Saint-Denis. The lieu-dit carries the name Aux Echézeaux, which is a happy coincidence for a Vosne producer. The crop was held to half the legal maximum yield, and the wine was raised in amphora and old oak, the combination Lamarche has adopted across much of her range to keep the fruit unmasked.
