Meursault lies just north of Puligny, and its clay and limestone slopes tend to give fuller, rounder wines than its neighbours. Parcels are pressed gently, then fermented and matured in French oak barrels. This bottling shows the soft, ample side of Meursault, with a little spice and a long, mellow finish.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLightly chilled, at about 12 degrees, it is a treat with lobster, roast chicken, creamy risotto, pan-seared scallops or a ripe Brie.
