It is village land by classification, but Narvaux has a long-standing reputation among Meursault growers and is one of the handful of named sites regularly bottled on its own rather than blended away. Meursault has no grand cru whatsoever, which leaves its premier crus and its best lieux-dits to carry the commune's name.
