Reds are the smaller part of the story, though the domaine has long had an interest in them, including vines in the Beaujolais crus to the south. The Bourgogne appellation is the regional tier of the Burgundian hierarchy, covering Pinot Noir grown within the delimited vineyards of the region, and in the hands of a serious grower it is one of the more rewarding corners of any list.
