Growers here have long bottled individual climats separately, and in 2020 twenty-two of them were classified as premier cru, the first premier crus anywhere in the Mâconnais. Les Chevrières is one of the named sites within the appellation, bottled on its own by the domaine rather than blended into the village wine.
