Each contributes something different, from the poise of Cannubi to the structure of Rocche di Castiglione and the depth of the family's home vineyard above Castiglione Falletto. The Scavino estate was founded in 1921 and has been directed by Enrico Scavino since the 1950s, latterly alongside his daughters Enrica and Elisa. As throughout the range, the wine is fermented with a long maceration and matured in French oak.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eDecant an hour ahead and serve at around 18 degrees with braised or roasted red meat, or with a truffle-dressed pasta.
