It is split into named climats with noticeably different soils and exposures, so growers with several parcels often keep them apart. This one sits beside the premier cru of the same name, on thinner, stonier limestone than the flatter ground below. Pinot Noir from here leans to perfume and precision, with fine-grained tannin and the spiced, floral character of the neighbouring slope.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eRed and dark fruit, spice and a long mineral finish, all on silky tannin.
