Only a single fermenter was filled, as a test of the site, and that batch was blended with lighter declassified ferments from the Heathcote Syrah. Harcourt is the cooler of the two places and gives more savoury, spicier Syrah; from 2021 it earned a wine of its own. This is the earlier-drinking red of the range, and in magnum the development slows enough to make keeping it a few years worthwhile.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHighly aromatic already, with juicy blue fruit, violet and spice, a silky body, driving acid and a nip of graphite tannin. Serve at 16 degrees.
